Sheffield Hallam University's Geography and Environment Group, in conjunction with the Royal Geographical Society and the Geographical Association, is hosting a presentation on The Great Land. Chris Speight will cover aspects of the culture, history and geography of Alaska and Yukon, two places collectively known as The Great Land.
The talk covers the Athabaskan First Nation People, Denali National Park, the Klondike Gold Rush, and the Glacier Bay National Park.
