For today's students and graduates, making the transition from education to employment is often a challenging one. By becoming a mentor, you can play a significant role in helping bridge this gap.
Alumni make particularly valuable mentors as they have often had similar learning experiences to the student they're advising. This makes it easier for them to relate their experience and career path to the student and provide practical advice.
Interns and student placements offer you fresh talent for your business with their technical knowledge and subject matter expertise, as well as fresh perspectives and plenty of ambition.
A placement usually involves taking a student on for 48 weeks in a paid position, whereas internships are more short term.
