New banqueting offer for businesses
12 July 2013
2013 is proving to be an exciting year for the events team at Sheffield Hallam, with confirmation that the Eat Sheffield Awards and the Hospitality Sheffield Awards will both be held at the University's recently refurbished banqueting venue, Hallam Hall.

Eat Sheffield facilitates the representation of independent food businesses in Sheffield, and the awards ceremony aims to champion and promote the best of what the region has to offer. All categories are publicly voted for, encouraging people to recognise and reward their favourite places to eat and buy food.
The annual Hospitality Sheffield Awards celebrate the vast contribution that hospitality employees make to Sheffield's economy. The awards are organised by Hospitality Sheffield, and play a central role by spotlighting and celebrating the people that work hard to make visitor's experiences of Sheffield enjoyable and memorable.
Rebecca Stanyard, Commercial Events Manager at Sheffield Hallam University said, "We are very much looking forward to welcoming all the competitors from the hospitality industry into the University.
"Both the Eat Sheffield Awards and Hospitality Sheffield Awards are very significant events in the City, and it will be exciting to see these glittering awards ceremonies take place in Hallam Hall."
With the launch of a new banqueting offer this summer and the recent refurbishment transforming Hallam Hall into a prime city centre venue for dinners and banqueting, the events team at Sheffield Hallam are more than excited to be putting their wealth of expertise and knowledge into new projects such as awards ceremonies, large dinners and even Christmas parties.
