Systems and manufacturing

We can model your existing facilities and processes, as well as potential new layouts, enabling you to test alternative scenarios off-line. Simulation is the only tool which enables you to look at the product, resources, operations and layout simultaneously. We also have experts in lean manufacturing who can offer advice and facilitation of in-house implementation.

Materials modelling

Molecular (and higher scale) modelling can predict the flow and deformation of fluids, often crucial to modelling process systems and equipment. Such material properties can model flow-systems including three dimensional flows, time dependency (with chemical reaction), mass transfer, heat transfer, free surface and large density difference (as in gas/liquid systems).

Pattern recognition and machine vision

Our research in this area offers the potential to locate and identify shapes, imperfections and other image-related parameters at high speeds, in complex 3D objects and tracking them in time and space.
