We have three sport research centres at Sheffield Hallam.
Centre for Sport and Exercise Science (CSES)
CSES boasts one of the largest physical activity and sport-related portfolios of research expertise in the UK, if not Europe. It has a wide range of clients from the public and private sector.
Centre for Sports Engineering Research (CSER)
CSER has an international reputation for consultancy, research, and public engagement. It carries out research and consultancy projects for government agencies, ruling bodies of sport and commercial companies.
Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC)
SIRC uses applied economic techniques to solve specific research requirements and generate new knowledge about the sport and leisure industries. In the last year, SIRC has completed research assignments for all four home nation Sports Councils and UK Sport.
