Meeting services

We have over 80 high quality rooms available for meetings, seminars and training sessions. Our meeting room rates are extremely competitive and prices start from £80 for a session hire of one of our smaller meeting rooms, which hold up to 20 delegates.

All of our meeting rooms have access to free wi-fi along with an integrated audio visual system which includes computer, data projector and screen. These are available for use at an additional charge of £49 per session.

Gold meeting package

Day delegate rate: £28 + VAT
(Minimum 10 delegates)

The University has a wide range of meeting rooms available at both our City and Collegiate campuses.

Our Gold meeting package includes

  • main room hire
  • data projector and networked computer in main room
  • flip chart pad and pens
  • Gold buffet lunch (sample Gold menu, PDF 168KB)
  • morning coffee and biscuits
  • afternoon tea and biscuits
  • mineral water for speakers

All prices are subject to VAT.

Every Aspect package

Our newly designed Every Aspect package has been created to offer the greatest flexibility in providing every aspect of the needs of both the meeting organiser and their delegates.

Exclusively at our modern and spacious Aspect Court complex, delegates are invited to choose freely from the wide range of wholesome food and drink on offer at our central catering hub throughout the day, rather than having to keep to set times and menus.

The package also includes an organiser pack, consisting of a flipchart pad, whiteboard markers, a whiteboard eraser and water and cups for the room.

  • Hot drink and pastry on arrival
  • Cake and hot drink mid morning
  • Sandwich, crisps, fruit and soft drink for lunch
  • Hot drink and homemade cake mid afternoon
  • Hot drink or chilled drink bottle for the journey home

Half day (lunch included)** £15

  • Hot drink and cake on arrival
  • Salad bowl, crisps, fruit and soft drink for lunch
  • Hot drink and homemade cake mid-session
  • Hot drink prior to departure

Half day (lunch excluded)** £10

  • Hot or cold drinks throughout your meeting as well as a choice of homemade cakes

* Sheffield Hallam University reserves the right to restrict excessive use out of keeping with the spirit of this package (e.g. individuals taking multiple items for later consumption) and may ask delegates to pay the cash price for affected items where this is the case. It is expected that any items taken from the catering outlet are for personal consumption during the period of the booked meeting or, in the case of drinks, immediately afterwards.
