Annual Christmas Market 2015

This is a great opportunity to support our student and graduate entrepreneurs. They will be selling everything from jewellery, clothing and cards to unusual gifts and novelty items.
Come along to the University's Christmas Market and find the perfect presents and stocking fillers for your friends and family.
These monthly workshops can help you decide if self-employment is for you. They're also a great opportunity to meet other student and graduate entrepreneurs from Sheffield Hallam – you may even find your first client or a new business partner.
The next workshops are on
- Thursday 10th December
- Thursday 21st January
- Tuesday 23rd February
- Thursday 17th March
- Tuesday 26th April

We offer a range of workshops throughout the year to help our student and graduate entrepreneurs progress their ideas.
Enterprise Challenge launch event
Enterprise Challenge is our annual business start-up competition. Entrants have the chance to win cash and support to help them start their own businesses.

If you think that being self–employed might be the right career option for you but are unsure if you have the right skills and confidence to go it alone. Then these four 2 hour workshops could be just what you are looking for. You will have the opportunity to:
- test out your enterprising skills
- break down a few myths on what it means to be self-employed
- meet people who share your interests
- hear from former SHU students who are currently self-employed
- get the opportunity to find out what it is like to be in the Dragon's Den, pitching an idea
