Profile
Max Caley is the newest member of the MEC team. He is a senior lecturer teaching mathematics and professional standards on initial teacher education programmes. He is a teacher with the Further Maths Support Programme and a further mathematics examiner with Edexcel.
Before entering initial teacher training he taught mathematics across a wide range of levels at university and sixth form college.

Research and consultancy projects
Authored workbooks and developed resources for the Helping Engineers Learn Mathematics (HELM) Project, a HEFCE (FDTL4) funded national curriculum development project.
