In 2004 I moved to South Yorkshire ambulance service and completed the paramedic practitioner course at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU).
I completed my teaching qualifications at SHU in 2005.
On my journey in pre-hospital care I have gained qualifications in MIMMS, PHTLS, AMLS, PEPP, GEMS and ITLS all internationally recognised qualifications gaining instructor qualifications in some of these areas.
I am now currently pursuing masters in Advanced Professional Practice.
I started working for the ambulance service as an IHCD Ambulance Technician in 2000 for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Ambulance Paramedic Service.
In 2002 I completed my paramedic training through the IHCD route.
After completing my teaching qualifications I worked with the paramedic team as an associate lecturer moving to a full time contract in 2007.
