School competition
Do you have students who have a passion for design? Secondary schools in Sheffield are being invited to enter a Forgotten Spaces Schools Competition. Schools are invited to propose an idea for their community assembly area. The competition is open to all year groups and the prizes for the schools include:
- £1000 of resources
- £750 of resources
- £500 of resources
The competition is run in conjunction with a high-profile regional competition in association with the Royal Institute for British Architects (RIBA) and Sheffield Hallam University.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three designs judged by an expert panel to contribute to development of resources at your school or college. This is a fantastic opportunity for students with an interest in urban design or architecture to work together on a real project which will be seen by professionals in the field.
Designs will be exhibited as part of the regional competition in public spaces and the winners will be invited to a prize giving event at Sheffield Hallam University, Furnival Building in December.
