Deciding to come to the UK was a defining moment in my life, as it was such a big challenge for an Arabic Muslim girl to move to a very different country. The course I am studying was a dream I couldn't compromise on, and Sheffield Hallam University was the right place to make my dream real.
The reality was more attractive than my imagination. The learning facilities students have at Sheffield Hallam University are unbelievable. Students have everything they need to excel in their studies and make learning a very unique experience.

The Universitys 'meet and greet' service arranged for us to be collected at the airport. Some of the first people I met were the friendly International Student Support staff and the student crew, who welcomed us and gave us advice on whatever we wanted to know about.
Through the house-hunting service, I was able to get a good private apartment with three other international students a chance to learn more about other peoples cultures!
To other students considering coming to Sheffield Hallam University, all your learning needs will be met. The staff and tutors are friendly and committed to assisting students in whatever way possible.
