Successful applicants will be awarded with a cheque and a certificate to mark their achievement at a Scholarships ceremony following enrolment on their course. This bursary is not a reduction in fees.

Eligibility criteria

You are eligible to be considered for the European Bursary if

  • you are a national of an EU country other than the UK and classed as an EU student for fees purposes
  • you can meet the course entry requirements as specified in your offer
  • you have accepted your offer of a place on your chosen course starting in September 2011or January 2012
  • you are able to evidence achievement in your personal statement

The Scholarships Panel will consider the quality of the personal statement alongside academic achievement when allocating bursaries. The Panel will be held after the closing date and applicants will be notified approximately one month after the closing date using the contact details provided on their application form. The decision of the Panel is final.
