Meet our people

Mehedi Hasan, Bangladesh
International Marketing
I was impressed with the graduate course of International Marketing at Sheffield Hallam University. The website provided me with a good picture about the standard of education at Sheffield Hallam as well as life in Sheffield, which helped me make my decision to seek admission.
Sheffield Hallam provides a world class educational environment with expert faculties, advanced teaching materials, computing and internet facilities and the state of the art library with a wide range of books. The faculty members are highly qualified and actively engaged with research activities. It makes them capable to deliver lectures with real life examples.

Ryan Valasapali, India
MBA
After considerable research I found that Sheffield Hallam University stood out amongst the universities I had short-listed.
I can confidently say that the University has exceeded my expectations. The friendly people and the exciting social life have left me spellbound. The university played its part by assisting me every step of the way in finding a place to stay.
Right from the Meet and Greet service to arranging trips to York and Manchester, the University has done everything possible to help international students like myself feel at home.

Hassan Gulzar, Pakistan
MSc IT and Management
Sheffield Hallam University has a wide range of postgraduate courses that are very job orientated and career focused. They provide professional certification and have practical courses. This was one of the major factors that led to me choosing to study here.
I was concerned that I did not know anyone and would be moving to live in a new place and a new culture. I was also worried to be leaving my family and I had never even stayed in a hostel before. I share my accommodation with five other students and I made lots of international friends while I have been studying.

Abdul Ravees, Sri Lanka
MSc Pharmacology and Biotechnology
I was delighted to know that Sheffield Hallam University provides a January 2009 intake for my subject of interest. I was impressed by the modules so I applied for the course, and I was surprised when Sheffield Hallam processed my application within three days.
I like Sheffield as compared to other places in the UK, its very green, there is no pollution, there are less people and its a peaceful place. I feel secure in Sheffield, I am enjoying my course and having a great time meeting new people.
