Christ University, Bangalore

BA (Hons) Business Management top-up

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the following courses at Christ University you can apply for admission to the final year of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

  • first four semesters of your Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a minimum overall average mark of 70 per cent
  • first four semesters of your Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) with a minimum overall average mark of 60 per cent

BSc (Hons) Hospitality Business Management

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the first six semesters of your BA in Hotel Management at Christ University (with a minimum overall average mark of 60 per cent) you can apply for admission to the final year of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

BSc (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Business Management

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the first four semesters of your B Com in Tourism and Travel Management at Christ University (with a minimum overall average mark of 60 per cent) you can apply for admission to the final year of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

Gautam Buddha University

The University has agreed that postgraduate students from Gautam Buddha University can apply to undertake a study semester at Sheffield Hallam. Students can study a pre-agreed programme of modules from a selection offered by the Faculty of Arts, Computing, Engineering and Sciences and Sheffield Business School. Students will gain academic credit for their study at Sheffield Hallam.

ICFAI Business School Hyderabad

BA (Hons) International Business (Top-up)

The University has agreed that if you have achieved a minimum overall average mark of 60 per cent during the first four semesters on the BBA Programme at ICFAI you can apply for admission to third year of the above course at Sheffield Hallam.

BSc Games and Interactive Media

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the Edexcel HND Interactive Media course at IMC (with a minimum overall average mark of 55 per cent) you can apply for admission to the final year of the above course at Sheffield Hallam.

Techno India NJR Institute of Technology

BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering

The University has agreed that if you have obtained a minimum average mark of 60 per cent during your first five semesters of BE Electronics and Communication Engineering at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology you can apply for admission to year three of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

On enrolment at Sheffield Hallam University, you will be expected to demonstrate that you have maintained your academic attainment and achieved an average mark of 60 per cent during semester six of BE Electronics and Communication Engineering at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology.

BEng (Hons) Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering

The University has agreed that if you have obtained a minimum average mark of 60 per cent during your first five semesters of BE Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Techno India NJR Institute of Technology you can apply for admission to year three of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.

Vidyalankar Group of Educational Institutes

BA (Hons) Business Management (top-up)

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed four semesters of the Bachelor of Management Studies programme (with an average grade of at least 55 per cent or a GPA of 2.0) at Vidyalankar you can apply for admission to the final year of the BA (Honours) Business Management (top-up) at Sheffield Hallam.

BSc (Hons) Software Development

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed years one and two of BSc Information Technology at Vidyalankar School of Information Technology you can apply for admission to the final year of the BSc (Honours) Software Development at Sheffield Hallam.

Sri Lanka

International College of Business and Technology (ICBT)

BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Construction Management (level 6 top-up)

The University has agreed that if you have completed an HND in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent relevant award), you can complete the above Sheffield Hallam University degree at one of ICBT's campuses in Sri Lanka (Colombo, Kandy or Matara).

The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. ICBT will deliver the course, assess the award and provide support services including learning resources and student support.

Accreditation

The RICS will not accredit any 'top up' degree from an HND (or equivalent). Graduates from the BSc can however apply to join an accredited MSc and so achieve the same RICS exemption.

The CIOB will be asked to consider the award and we expect the award to be recognised by them in the future.

In addition to the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Construction Management degree ICBT are also offering a Sheffield Hallam University Diploma in Quantity Surveying. This award is designed so that those applicants who do not have an HND or equivalent award can demonstrate their ability and so, on completion of the Diploma gain access to the BSc.

As the Diploma is a minor award and approximately equivalent to 25 per cent of an HND this award will not be accredited by the RICS or CIOB.

Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT)

The University has an established relationship with SLIIT and there are a wide variety of opportunities for SLIIT students to study with Sheffield Hallam.

Summer Semester Programme

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the BTEC HND Information Technology and BSc Information Technology year three, semester one modules at SLIIT you can apply for admission to an information technology course on the Summer Semester Programme.

The University has agreed that SLIIT can deliver this course at its premises in Sri Lanka.

The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. With support from Sheffield Hallam, SLIIT will deliver and assess the award and provide support services including learning resources and student support.

The University has agreed that SLIIT can deliver the above course at its premises in Sri Lanka.

The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. SLIIT will deliver the course, assess the award and provide support services including learning resources and student support.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed the Diploma in Business Management at SLIIT you can apply for admission to the one year BBA to top-up the Diploma to a Sheffield Hallam Honours degree.

The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. With support from Sheffield Hallam, SLIIT will deliver the award at its premises in Sri Lanka. SLIIT will assess the award and provide support services including learning resources and student support. There is the also the option to study a summer semester at Sheffield Hallam in the UK.

BEng Electronic Engineering (level 6)

The University has agreed that SLIIT can deliver the above course at its premises in Sri Lanka.

If you have successfully completed the Diploma in Electronic Engineering at SLIIT you can progress to the above course to top-up the Diploma to a Sheffield Hallam Honours degree.

The award is validated by Sheffield Hallam. With support from Sheffield Hallam, SLIIT will deliver and assess the award and provide support services including learning resources and student support.

The University has agreed that if you have successfully completed your Diploma in Administrative Management at any IAM centre (with a minimum average mark of 50-55 per cent) you can apply for admission to Level 5 of the above course at Sheffield Hallam University.
