This professional lead opportunity is based within the Diagnostic Imaging Team at Sheffield Hallam University. You will be required to maintain and develop the portfolio in order to progress the national and international standing of this team in collaboration with the Ultrasound Strategic Lead.
We want to hear from you if you are passionate about leading a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Team during a time of unprecedented change. As part of this role you will be leading and managing a team who have the responsibility for developing and delivering highly innovative and creative Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging courses. You will be responsible for strategic and operational management of the Diagnostic Imaging Team working alongside the Ultrasound Strategic Lead. It will be essential for you to work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the portfolio is cutting edge, contemporaneous and relevant in today's challenging health and social care environment.
The role will involve delegated responsibility for key aspects of academic development and business planning and will therefore have to demonstrate a range of associated skills. An awareness of the agendas of research informed teaching and a willingness to work across the department and the research centres is crucial.
You will need to be politically aware and have the ability to maintain effective relationships with key partners external to the university and staff within the faculty, department and Diagnostic Imaging Team. The ability to show outstanding leadership, strategic awareness and strategic thinking is also essential for this role.
