Sheffield Hallam University is looking for someone to join the Market Intelligence Division which provides a professional, proactive and integrated approach to Market Research and Market Analysis.
Working with other members of the team, internal stakeholders and external agencies, you will lead on specific areas of the University's Market Research Plan. This post includes responsibility for, and requires experience of, designing, developing, managing and delivering a range of projects. You will need to engage with a variety of groups within the University, and understand and work within the complexities and sensitivities of a large and diverse organisation.
You will be required to work independently, as well as part of a team, and will be responsible for meeting deadlines, managing your own work plan and working on multiple projects simultaneously. There is a requirement to work expertly with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SNAP survey software.
You will have experience of undertaking qualitative and quantitative research, including managing large scale quantitative surveys. Experience of questionnaire design, effective data analysis, report writing and presenting research in a clear and concise manner is essential for this role. You will also have experience of working with, and commissioning, research agencies.
You will need to be numerate, analytical and be able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information both verbally and in writing. Planning and organisational skills are important for this role, as well as your innovative problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
