Job share guidance

Job sharing is a form of employment in which the duties and responsibilities of a post, which would normally be held by one person, are shared. The job sharing scheme applies to all staff groups.
The University actively supports job sharing where it is reasonable and practical to do so and where operational needs will not be adversely affected. Job share applications are welcomed, where this is indicated on the job advertisement.
If you wish to submit a job share application, you should indicate this on your application form in the section provided. If you and an identified job share partner wish to jointly apply for a post you should submit separate application forms but make it clear that you wish to be considered for a job share should you both be successful in your applications.
