Sheffield Hallam University is looking for a graduate to join its Market Intelligence Division in the Directorate of Corporate Affairs, in this exciting and challenging role as a Graduate Intern - Market Intelligence Assistant.
You will work with and support experienced members of Market Intelligence in the delivery of their plans. During the course of the year, through a programme of learning through working you will develop your skills in the areas of Market Research and Market Analysis. As the year progresses, you will increasingly take individual responsibility for specific elements of Market Intelligence activities. By the final quarter of the year, you will be taking on a range of tasks as a fully integrated member of the team.
You will have some experience of market research techniques, information analysis, report writing and presenting findings. You will therefore need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
You will be required to work independently as well as part of a team and will be responsible for meeting deadlines and managing your own work schedule. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and will be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across the University, and with external agencies. Strong analytical skills are also essential for this role.
