Profile
After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Central Lancashire and then my Masters at Lancaster, I undertook a PhD in Law at Queen's University Belfast. My doctoral research investigates cultural homophobia in Northern Ireland and the implications this has on addressing homophobic hate crimes.
I joined Sheffield Hallam in 2009, having previously taught at Queen's and Central Lancashire.
