Claire teaches occupational therapy and has a particular specialism in working with older people and people with dementia. Her research interest includes exploring ways that design can improve the quality of life of older people, and is part of the Lab4Living research project at the University. She has written and co-authored numerous books and is currently studying for a PhD in participatory photographic research methods in gerontology.
