Cristina teaches across a range of Spanish modules focused on language and on Spanish business and social environment. She is the author of España Contemporánea (2005), a textbook for Spanish Area Studies which is used across many universities in Europe and America. She has also written Un Año en España (2010), a Spanish language textbook which draws upon her experience preparing students for their Erasmus and work placement period in Spain. Her other expertise area is intercultural competence, which she teaches in the Cross-Cultural Awareness module.
