Larissa has a particular interest in the role of sport in local economic development and regeneration, the tangible and intangible impacts of sport stadia, including the impact on property markets, the economic importance of sport and Olympic legacies. She is a researcher at the Sport Industry Research Centre (SIRC) at the University and a lecturer in geography. She combines her personal and academic interest in sport with her discipline background in geography, specialising in the area of sport and urban regeneration. She also has an interest in methodologies used to measure and value sport.
