Researchers from Sheffield Hallam University's Centre for Sport and Exercise Science are offering people the chance to get free exercise consultation and advice from sport scientists.
They are looking to recruit participants for a research study into genetics and physical activity, and they have 30 free gym memberships up for grabs as well as a 12 week exercise course specifically designed to aid weight loss.
PhD student Joel Rocha is leading the study and will support participants by acting as their personal trainer for the 12 week exercise program.
Joel said: "As well as free gym places and a 12 week exercise plan, I will give them nutritional advice at the end of the study to aid in further health and physical activity.
"This is a great opportunity for people who want to become more active and engage in a better lifestyle."
