Professor Bruce Collins

Professor of modern history Bruce's main expertise is the history of how British military and naval power contributed to the expansion of the empire during 1780-1902. He covers American political and social history since the 1960s and has published on the coming of the civil war in America, as well as America's 'slave south'.
