The University’s new quarterly magazine, Review, is now out and attached to this email. Articles in this edition include a look at the forthcoming general election with views from politics students and lecturers and the treasures of our special collection.
This edition of Review focuses on our role in the Grand Départ, and our programme of events and activities which supported Welcome to Yorkshire's hosting of the first two stages of the famous race. The magazine also showcases some of our best recent research, including a surprising view of the UK economy, the pros and cons of 'rewilding' our landscapes, and a guest-written piece about Yorkshire's role in World War One, by historian Dr Merv Lewis.
This edition of Review is a Tour de France special, and shows off details of our programme of events and activities taking place over the next few months in the run up to the Grand Départ, when Yorkshire hosts the first two stages of the famous race.
This is our special edition to commemorate 100 years of stainless steel in Sheffield, featuring articles on Steel and Light and how we are shaping the future of the steel industry in the city.
