The new edition of the Sheffield Hallam magazine, Review, is out now. It features an in-depth look at the University’s economic impact within the city, after an independent report revealed that one in 42 jobs in Sheffield is in some way reliant on the University. The University’s new quarterly magazine, Review, is now out. Articles in this edition include a look at the forthcoming general election with views from politics students and lecturers and the treasures of our special collection.
This edition of Review focuses on our role in the Grand Départ, and our programme of events and activities which supported Welcome to Yorkshire's hosting of the first two stages of the famous race. The magazine also showcases some of our best recent research, including a surprising view of the UK economy, the pros and cons of 'rewilding' our landscapes, and a guest-written piece about Yorkshire's role in World War One, by historian Dr Merv Lewis.
