Various locations around Sheffield are to become public exhibition spaces during a two week pop-up art festival this month.
The fortnight-long festival, called 'Reveal', has been organised by fine art and creative art students from Sheffield Hallam University, and will see contemporary artwork from the University's students showcased at unconventional venues around the city.
Castle Market, Kelham Island and St Augustine's church on Brocco Bank are just some of the 14 Sheffield locations where the student-led art exhibitions will be held. Art exhibited at St Augustine's church has been inspired by the building and the community surrounding it.
Stephen Milligan, 20, a second year fine art student who is exhibiting at 35 Chapel Walk in the city centre, said: "It has given us the chance to self-initiate our own exhibitions. The experience gained in doing this will no doubt help us to do similar projects in the future."
Creative Art Practice student Jaz Parkinson, originally from Preston, said:
"It's a great opportunity to reveal our work and bring attention to the unconventional venues that Sheffield has to offer."
The events run from the 11-25 March at various venues across the city.
