A Sheffield Hallam University animation graduate has landed his first major brief - designing a clip for National Non Smoking Day.
Chris Gray, from Rotherham, was approached by film-maker Geoff Fox to design a clip for Wakefield Stop Smoking Service, run by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Geoff, who runs Barnsley-based Deadline Digital, has decided to branch out into animation and approached Sheffield Hallam after hearing about their undergraduate and postgraduate courses in animation.
Chris, 23, landed the high-profile job, which is featured on the front page of the Wakefield Stop Smoking Service website, and on You Tube.
Geoff said: "Getting his first job at the NHS is a good start to Chris' animation career. I was delighted with the results, as were Wakefield Stop Smoking Service and the Trust. It tells the message clearly and directly and highlights the importance of this national campaign."
