Three film students from Sheffield Hallam have moved up a gear in their professional careers by making a video to showcase a 24-hour cycling grand prix at Silverstone.
Film-maker Jordan Carroll, 22, was approached by Sportsworks via the University's Venture Matrix scheme to make the short film. Jordan, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, enlisted Matthew Sturdy and Jess Hutchinson to help make the film about the 24-hour Cycling Grand Prix, which will be held over two days in September.
The company has now commissioned Jordan to create a second promotional film closer to the time.
Tom Wenham, from Sportsworks, said: "We’re incredibly impressed with it as well - it looks great and is absolutely the right message."
Jordan has also received a Michael and Morven Heller Bursary to fund his dreams of being an underwater cameraman.
Venture Matrix is a unique work-based learning scheme that aims to develop students' employability and enterprise skills through real life work-related projects that are accredited as part of their degree at Sheffield Hallam University.
