Sheffield Hallam graduate and swimming coach Jen Basford talks about her London 2012 experience, interviewing her heroes as a flash quote reporter in the Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Park. In her special Gamesmaker role in the LOCOG Press Operations team, Jen conducted post competition pool-side interviews with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, including her idol Michael Phelps. She also worked on the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay, travelling around the UK for 70 days straight to help deliver the many iconic torch moments.
