Undergraduate computer games courses
You have a choice of studying full-time over 3 years, or for 4 years sandwich - undertaking a one year industrial placement in between the 2nd and final years. We encourage all students to undertake a work placement. We have a dedicated placement team who will help you find a placement. - BSc (Honours) Games Software Development - This is a four-year technical course covering C++ programming, 3D graphics, DirectX, OpenGL, software engineering techniques, project management and mathematics. Includes 1 year industrial placement.
- BA (Honours) Games Design - A four-year course for those with artistic talents, covering process of games design and producing graphics and other digital content for games. Also provides an awareness of the games industry, animation and photography skills. Includes 1 year industrial placement.
- MComp Computer Games - new Master of Computing course combining undergraduate and postgraduate study.
