You normally need a one from

• 2.2 honours degree or equivalent professional qualification

• 5 years work experience with responsibility for managing projects related to design or consultancy in the hospitality industry

• to be employed in an organisation operating within the design and management consultancy sector of the international hospitality industry

If your first language is not English you must show a high level of written and verbal English language skill, such as a TOEFL test minimum mark, paper-based 575, computer-based 233 or IELTS 6.5.

If you do not meet the above criteria you can apply for the Graduate Diploma in Business and English. After passing this diploma we automatically offer you a place on one of our business, finance or leisure masters degrees.

 

Attendance

Part-time – typically three years

There are two modules each semester in the first and second year, followed by the dissertation in the final year.

There is one induction study school which lasts four days. Each of the four semesters has one mid-semester study school lasting three days. There is one final study school at the start of the last semester.

Fees – home and EU students

2013/14 academic year

Typically £3,060 a year

Plus an additional £1,000 for affiliated membership of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), payable in year one.

Assessment

We assess each module by written assignment. You complete a dissertation to gain the MSc.
