This Spanish enhancement course prepares you to start training as a modern language teacher. It is suitable if you are proficient in a language other than Spanish and want to offer a second language, or you have some Spanish, but want to increase your confidence to teach it in schools.

Learn in a variety of ways and settings
Lessons are taught at our city campus with a further two weeks spent on intensive language study in Spain.

The course combines tutor-led sessions with small group tutorials and supported self-study. Together these develop your knowledge so that you can teach Spanish confidently to Key Stage 3 and beyond.

11 or 13 week routes
If you are proficient in another language but with no prior knowledge of Spanish, you can complete an additional two week ab-initio course prior to starting the main course.

If you would like to teach Spanish at secondary level, but need to improve your Spanish subject knowledge, this course is the ideal stepping stone.

Attendance

11 or 13 weeks. 27 May/ 10 June to 23 August 2013.
