This course enables you to gain the skills and knowledge required by quality professionals who need to understand and manage quality from a strategic business perspective. It develops a distinctive blend of technical and business skills enabling you to become a quality management practitioner operating effectively in the public and private sector.
Using processes and techniques that deliver better organisational systems, prioritise innovation and ensure customer-focused outcomes the course gives you the skills to build more robust, sustainable and cost effective organisations. There is the opportunity to use these skills by taking part in consultancy projects with employers while studying on this course. The course provides a strong foundation in quality theories and proficiency in using different techniques and tools for achieving business excellence. It also develops your understanding of the theoretical concepts that underpin the approaches and their application in the real world.
You benefit from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) certification, membership of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and on completing your masters you can apply for membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
