If you want an exciting and varied career as a professional engineer this course is for you. It is accredited as a first step towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.

You need to be motivated, inquisitive and want a challenge. Engineers are interested in why and how things happen, and how things work. We help you develop your problem solving skills, to convert ideas into practical solutions.

Throughout this course you will be working alongside practising engineers (part-time industrially sponsored students). Our industrial involvement enables us to help you enhance your employability.

You study electrical and electronic engineering, including system design, programming, communications and information engineering, computer networks, instrumentation and control systems.

The course is designed to develop a professional approach to problem solving, whilst raising awareness of business systems, project management, and factors such as environmental considerations.
