MA/PgDip/PgCert Accounting and Finance, 2009 graduate
'My experience at Sheffield Hallam was amazing! I have made great progress in both my knowledge of the English language and my academic knowledge.
'I have made lots of friends here. My new friends were my flatmates, classmates and fellow students. We helped each other to adapt to the new environment. I played the leadership role in CSSA (Chinese Student in Sheffield Association). It has the same functions as the Students' Union at Sheffield Hallam but it represents and works for all the Chinese students.
'I chose my course because I am interested in finance and accounting. I particularly enjoyed the financial analysis, international reporting and forensic accounting modules.
'As a postgraduate student, the workload was quite heavy because we just had one year to learn nine modules. However, the facilities and the study materials which the University provide were really good.
'Sheffield Hallam is a very good university because it provides a lot of student support. The experience here has changed my life!'
