This course is for people who wish to work, or are working, in accountancy and want to develop their career by obtaining an internationally recognised professional qualification. Successfully completing the course means that you have passed the core modules of the Professional (final) level examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
We give you a comprehensive understanding of the skills a professional accountant requires. You take 9 papers over two levels. At Fundamental level (F) you study financial accounting, management accounting and other related subjects. At Professional level (P), you study corporate reporting and the other core module subjects.
You may be able to gain exemption from some or all of the Fundamental level papers depending on your existing qualifications. You cannot gain exemption from the Professional level papers. If you have the maximum available exemptions, you can complete this course in 12 months.
If you start with no exemptions, the course typically takes three to four years to complete. During this time you normally gain practical experience from employment in accounting, commerce, industry or a professional practice.
Our courses are taught by experienced tutors, many of whom are professionally qualified accountants with strong links to the ACCA and substantial experience of working within accountancy and the associated professions.
