The international product development module involves working in multidisciplinary teams to design and develop a product in the global market.

Professional Recognition

The MSc is accredited as an approved course of further learning by three major engineering institutions, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institution of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) . Successful completion will contribute towards the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

If you study 40 per cent of the materials content, subject to your first degree you could meet the educational requirements of CEng status with the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining who also accredit this course.
