2014 entry requirements

GCSE English language and mathematics at grade C or above. Plus one of the following

• 200-240 points from at least two GCE/VCE A levels or BTEC national qualification, including A2 in a design and technology related subject, such as art and design, craft design technology, textiles design and science. We accept AS levels.

• Access – at least 45 credits at level 3 from a relevant Open College Network accredited course

If English is not your first language you need an IELTS score of at least 6.5 with a minimum score of 5.5 in all skills

If you have work experience related to design and technology, without A level qualifications, we may consider your application if you have the GCSE requirements and evidence of further study in design and technology.

The level of your offer will be based on the strength of your application, your interview performance and your relevant experience.

For entry in 2013 onwards there will be national pre-entry tests in literacy and numeracy.
