Louise Morford
BA (Honours) Marketing Communications and Advertising
`It was a pleasure to be a student at Sheffield Hallam and I felt supported throughout my studies, especially in my final year.
`I liked the advertising aspects of the course as well as marketing which not many universities offered. I also liked the creativity involved within the course. The best bits for me were the enthusiastic and supportive tutors and the projects we were able to do which were similar to projects you would undertake in real life.
`Since doing the course I have managed to build my knowledge of marketing and advertising to a level where I managed to get a job within two months of receiving my results. One of the main reasons I got the job was due to my placement experience at Stanley Black and Decker, and the hands on and realistic projects that were undertaken in the modules in my final year.
`I am now an activation manager for Greencore Prepared Meals, mainly responsible for branded products such as Weight Watchers quiche and ready meals and Sutherland spread but also supporting category managers and commercial controllers for own label brands.
`Thank you Hallam!'
