About this course
This one year top up course builds on your skills and knowledge so you can convert your existing qualifications to an honours degree.
The revenue generated by computer games sales now exceeds that of DVDs and cinema box offices. This confirms it as one of the most important entertainment industries.
The UK has built a vibrant and successful games software industry. It is the world’s third largest and is well respected for the creativity of the products it develops. Many of the world’s most popular games design publishers have bases in the UK and are seeking to use our talent.
The course supports this growth by providing new creative talent for the industry. It supplies the graphic designers, animators and developers to meet the industry’s demand for consistently high standards of work.
You learn

Salaries for games designers typically range between £20,000 and £30,000, and salaries for multimedia developers range between £20,000 and £25,000.

Entry requirements
An HND or foundation degree in a relevant area with merit profile.
If English is not your first language you will need an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each skill.
