Typically you need to have
• completed QTS
• some mathematical knowledge gained through your academic background, from teaching your main subject, or from other experience.
• successfully completed your induction year, or are about to
• be teaching mathematics to learners in the 11-19 age range throughout the course duration
Ideally you should have at least one year's experience of teaching mathematics to 11- 19 year olds.
Your highest mathematics qualification should be A level or lower.
 
One year – running from July to July
You attend every second Thursday between 16:30-19:00, plus up to eight additional whole study days which are individually negotiated. Supply cover payment is available.
