Social work

We have provided social work courses since 1965, and remain a leading provider of social work training. Our courses combine academic study and practice learning to fully prepare you for your career ahead. We have an excellent employment record which is testament to this.

Social workers are trained to help people who are having difficulties in their lives, or whose actions cause significant harm or problems for others.

They aim to help people live as independently as possible, by providing services to help support, care for or protect them when necessary.

Our social work degree is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means that when you graduate you are eligible to apply to register with the HCPC to practice as a social worker.
