Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University
Psychology has been an established subject area here since 1968, and we have run a degree programme with British Psychological Society accreditation since 1992. Both the BSc in Psychology and the BSc in Psychology and Law are accredited by the British Psychological Society and both confer eligibility for Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) which is a prerequisite for professional training courses. Graduates of other degrees who do not have a BPS accredited psychology degree may be able to enrol on our Graduate Diploma in Psychology to gain the GBR without having to do a full undergraduate degree in psychology.
Our research interests include
