Consultancy and commercial services
Drawing on the knowledge and expertise of our staff, the BMRC provides a high-quality commercial and consultancy service covering a range of areas including microbiology, cell culture, microscopy, organic molecule synthesis and mass spectrometry.
We can offer experimental expertise and extensive research facilities to commercial clients, from simple short-term contract projects to more long-term co-development partnerships.
Projects are tailor made to client requirements and cover a wide range of experimental techniques. Recent projects have included diverse requirements such as
- assay development
- microbiological analysis
- drug derivative synthesis
- nutritional analysis of foods
- chemical analysis of oil waste
- MALDI-MS small metabolite imaging
The BMRC also offers a range of analytical services including mass spectrometry, proteomics, NMR and trace inorganic analysis.
As part of every commercial project our customers receive
- full confidentiality in all aspects of the work
- full study design report prior to the start of the project
- full and transparent project costs, plus accurate time scales
- full documentation and final written report
We also provide access to our equipment, and offer specialist training courses covering the use of all our instrumentation. Please see our equipment list for further details.
