Molecular structure and function relationships.
Computational techniques in the analysis of nucleic acid-drug interactions
Work involved the development of a set of programs in the C computer programming language to perform energy minimisation calculations for both analytical and predictive purposes. This work was conducted in collaboration with Professor Chris Hunter at the University of Sheffield.
The analysis of complex RNA structure
Bioinformatics and in particular graph theoretic techniques are currently being applied to the analysis of complex RNA structure. This work is conducted in collaboration with Professor Peter Artymiuk and Professor Peter Willett at the University of Sheffield.
