Profile

Dr Stephen Green is a research associate at CRESR, with ten years experience of social research. He has undertaken a wide range of projects using qualitative and quantitative methods, and has authored a number of research reports, articles and conference papers.

Stephen has recently completed an evaluation of the North Staffordshire Landlord Accreditation Scheme. He is currently engaged in research for Crisis, concerning 'hidden' homelessness, and for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) concerning the dynamics of poverty and place.

Research interests

Stephen's research interests include

  • affordable housing provision in rural areas
  • poverty and housing
  • private rented sector housing issues
  • the housing needs of younger people
