Research interests/current work
Kim's main areas of interest relate to physical activity, health and behaviour change. She currently works as a research assistant on a 'booster' intervention designed to investigate the maintenance of physical activity in middle aged adults in Sheffield. Kim is a member of the SHU Wellness Team and is also studying MSc Physical activity for Health.
Background
Kim completed her BSc (Hons) Exercise Science from Sheffield Hallam in 2009, where her interest in the 'booster' intervention began from the work she completed during her final year dissertation. Throughout university, she has acquired experience in exercise referral and physical activity fields through voluntary work with Sheffield Coronary Society, Sheffield Hallam Volunteering and the Ramblers' Association.
For her own personal enjoyment and health she recreationally jogs and uses the gym, as well as participating in team sports such as netball and basketball whenever possible.
