Research interests/current work
Research interests focus on the areas of competitive anxiety, mental toughness, youth sport and talent development.
Background
Joanne graduated from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (BA Hons Sport and Human Movement Studies, PGCE) before completing her MSc and Ph.D at Miami University, Ohio (USA).
Joanne is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and consults with both elite and development athletes.
