Postgraduate study

Postgraduate research in education

Supervision is offered to MPhil/PhD students to research full or part-time in areas represented by the Education Research Network.

As well as the long established PhD programme in Education and an associated MA course of research training there is also a professional doctorate leading to the award of EdD. These routes all have ESRC recognition and Sheffield Hallam University is recognised for CASE scholarships.

All research students are part of a larger research community in the Faculty, now consolidated in the Graduate School.
