Language and literacy education research
The Language and Literacy Research and Scholarship Group, which is a sub-group of the Education Research Network, has a particular focus on the changing nature of literacy, and the implications of this for the curriculum and professional training and development.
Key areas of recent work include
- academic literacies
- digital literacies
- literacy and identity
- multimodal analysis of children's interactions
- socio-cultural studies of literacy practices
